Huawei and Samsung to Conduct World's First LTE Interoperability Test
10/28/2009 Huawei, a leader in providing next-generation telecommunications network solutions for operators around the world, and Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., the leading mobile phone and equipment provider, today announced they will jointly conduct the world's first Long Term Evolution (LTE) Interoperability Test (IOT) in Europe in November to verify the interoperability of LTE network infrastructures and terminals.The IOT in Europe will be performed on Huawei’s LTE network and LTE modems manufactured by Samsung. The testing represents a big step forward for the commercialization of LTE and bringing mobile broadband services to end-users.

Huawei has made over 3000 LTE/SAE patents contribution to standardization bodies, and finished over 20 field tests and trials with world's leading operators such as Vodafone, Telenor and China Mobile.
